The Totally Usable Bird

Emus are raised in Tennessee for their lean red meat which is high in HDL's and low in LDL's; however, unlike many other animals raised for meat, the emu has virtually no waste products to end up in landfills.

Currently emu farming is "farm to finish", which means that the farmer must arrange for the sale of the individual end products produced.  Visit our Product Suppliers Page for more info on which of our members sell which products.
