G'Ma's Soap Why G'Ma's? Soap you buy at the supermarket is not cured. It is packaged right off the assembly line and shipped out for sale. That is why it is used up so quickly. G'Ma's Soap is cured 30 days before being wrapped and sold. The soap must also past a 'taste test' before being shipped. When it is first made, the lye gives it a 'bite'. After a week or ten days, the taste is a bit milder, but still evident. When there is no bite the soap is ready to use.
G'Ma's sells soap by the individual bar or wholesale by the batch. Batch orders contain 20 bars of hand cut soap. The standard bar size is roughly 5 oz, but bars can be cut larger or smaller. Bars can be wrapped and labeled to your specifications or shipped ready for you to wrap and label. If you prefer scented bars, I can meet that requirement. Available in unscented, citrus, spice and floral. Custom scents using essential oils are available on batch orders.
G'Ma's Hand Cream is made with all natural ingredients: Emu Oil, Bee's Wax, Water, Sodium Bicarbonate. It's an old fashioned recipe that still works after a hundred years - only better because it now has emu oil! Bee's Wax color will vary depending on the time of the season, with the earlier wax harvest being a lighter color than the end of the season harvest. The darker the color, the later in the season the wax was harvested and the more nutrients it will have. For this reason, Mrs. Roehs uses only the darkest, richest bee's wax for her product. G'Ma's Hand Cream is available by the 4 ounce jar or by the batch. Batch orders contain 30 (4-ounce) jars. Jars can be labeled to your specifications or shipped ready for you to label. If you prefer scented hand cream, I can meet that requirement. Available in unscented, citrus, spice and floral, but custom scents are available on batch orders. G'Ma Roma Roehs has been a member of the TNEA since
1995. Born in 1926, Mrs. Roehs has found her niche in the emu industry
through the production of two old fashioned products made the way her G'Ma
taught her: Lye Soap and Hand Cream. The only adaptation to either
of the original recipes has been the addition of emu oil. 
G'Ma's Soap is made from hand rendered fat, lye and water. 5% emu
oil is added at just the right point to make the oil a valuable addition to the
soap. These bars are cut by hand, not machine, so there is a slight
variation in size and shape. They average 5 oz each.
